Casala, Culemborf, The Netherlands. Casala is an abbreviation for Carl Sasse of Lauenau. Casala was founded in 1917 and, mid 1950s Casala became widely known for its school furniture. No suprise they managed to produce such a great kids chair as the Casalino! Today Casala main office is established at Culemborg, The Netherlands. To celebrate its 90th anniversary, Casala decided to reintroduce the Casalino chair: popular in the seventies, forgotten in the eighties, the new Casalino is not a remake, it’s an original. And still as beautiful as it ever was.
