The brand, Casala

Casala is an abbreviation for Carl Sasse of Lauenau. Casala was founded in 1917 and, in the mid-1950s became widely known for its school furniture. It is therefore no suprise that they have managed to produce such a great kids chair like the Casalino Jr.! Today Casala main office is in Culemborg, The Netherlands. To celebrate its 90th anniversary, Casala decided to reintroduce the Casalino chair: popular in the seventies, forgotten in the eighties, the new Casalino is not a remake, it’s an original. And still as beautiful as ever!
