Constantin: the latest addition to perludi's "please touch" series of children's furniture
Designed for children aged one to five years, perludi's Constantin rocker can be fashioned into a number of animals or vehicles, letting kids discover new possibilities of play.
Constantin is made from birch plywood and loden - a warm, wear-resistant woolen fleece fabric, which is used as a structural material. With many individual hook-and-loop shapes, which can be applied and reapplied anywhere on the rocker's loden surface, Constantin can be transformed into a wide range of animals and vehicules, as per the child's imagination.
Consisting of only three pieces supplied in a convenient light-weight flat carton with carrying handles, Constantin is easy to assemble and can be just as easily folded flat again for space-saving transport and storage. The exceptionally strong "loden" fabric holds the individual wooden elements together, and there is no need for nails or screws to put it up.
The materials - wood and wool - are renewable resources and are 100 percent environment-friendly, child-safe and recyclable. In use, both birch plywood and loden are warm, tactile and exceptionally durable.
Constantin's design emphasizes safety and ergonomically correct use, even for smaller children, and promotes the development of motor skills.
Like the other items in perludi's "please touch" series, Constantin represents the values of the company, packaged in a durable, timeless product.

TREE FOR A COT: ninetonine's new initiative to plant a tree for every cot they sell!
ninetonine, the furniture and design company for babies and children, is proud to announce it's new initiative: TREE FOR A COT
Looking after the environment is rightly at the forefront of everybody's minds nowadays, and particularly so, when it comes to their children. ninetonine are firm believers in the conservation of our environment – the wood they use is from sustainable sources, and they use only non-toxic lacquers and paints.
But ninetonine wants to go even further. So they've partnered up with treenation.com, to create the TREE FOR A COT initiative: for every cot or changing table bought, ninetonine will plant a tree in the name of the child for whom it was bought. The clients will be able monitor the tree's growth - as they will their own child's - directly via treenation.com, and it can become their child’s own special tree for life.
So, from the very moment they step foot in it, our children will be helping to create a better world...
