The artist, Carole Douchy

A graduate of the « Ecole Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris », Carole Douchy enjoys exploring different dimensions of creativity for and by children. For example, she produces wicker bow nets which appear half-animal, half-plant, and which stare at you with big curious eyes. Carole works with sophisticated fabrics, often Japanese-inspired, which give her creations a very contemporary look. Like a painting, her work is unique, evolving in small touches and gentle inspiration.
