Hi there, my name is Stephanie Duval. I have been a storyteller all my life, and even turned it
\ninto (part of) my job as the co-founding community marketer at RPPRT. For eight years, I
\nhave been blogging at www.70percentpure.be<\/a>, which is my little laboratory where I like to
\nshare my favorite stories, moments and memories from my life.<\/p>\n

All my life I have lived in Antwerp, Belgium, where I was born. But six years ago, my Belgian
\nhusband was presented with a wonderful opportunity in Nyon, and I followed him to
\nSwitzerland. We first lived in Geneva for three years, but when we expected our first child
\nwe decided to move to a more quiet and green place in the Vaud. When we first moved to
\nSwitzerland, I discovered Kids Love Design because I was looking for a String shelf unit \u2013
\nwhich my husband bought me for my 29 th birthday.<\/p>\n

Shortly afterwards we found out I was pregnant, and Kids Love Design became my favorite
\ndestination for online inspiration gathering and research. I discovered so many great brands
\nthrough the shop \u2013 from Budtzbendix to Oeuf NYC \u2013 and we bought most of Juliet\u2019s nursery
\nfurniture and accessories in the physical shop in Divonne. That\u2019s why I am immensely proud
\nand happy to have been asked to become one of the shop\u2019s local ambassadors \u2013 an honor I
\nshare with my blogging besties Marta Villacampa<\/a> and Nienke Muller<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We all love to visit the shop in Divonne \u2013 either to catch up with lovely owner Lisa, or to
\ngather new inspiration. When I was pregnant I went through an ill-advised but luckily short-
\nlived monochromatic black-and- white phase, because I thought everything colourful for kids
\nwas a bit tacky or loud. Thankfully the world has changed in the past couple of years, and
\ncolourful kids\u2019 stuff is now just as tasteful as adult interior decoration, while still playful and
\nchild-friendly. It is my goal to keep adapting Juliet\u2019s room as she grows older, to always
\nreflect her playful and energetic personality, but also to expose her to my take on design
\nand interior in general. Kids Love Design<\/a>, with its beautiful range of both adult and kids
\ndesign, makes this so easy for me.<\/p>\n

A few months ago, I came across this gorgeous rug from Lorena Canals new collection, and
\nfell instantly and deeply in love with it. To be honest, I hadn\u2019t anticipated the rug would fit
\nin so well as it does. I feel like all the little things I\u2019ve bought or found and started throwing
\ntogether now finally start making sense. From the soft pinks to the golden mustard tones
\nthat started accumulating, it all needed just a little more colour to tie it all together. And it
\nturns out a tiny bit of boh\u00e9mien charm, too. I found those cute tassel key chains in a
\nsouvenir shop on Mallorca, and I love how the colours seem to fit exactly with the ones in
\nthe rug. I couldn\u2019t have planned it any better, but I feel like it\u2019s even more meaningful
\nbecause it was all spur of the moment.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Juliet loves to practice baby yoga on her new rug \u2013 how awesome are Swiss daycare centres
\nfor introducing toddlers to this? It\u2019s also her favorite place to play hide and seek with
\nwhatever throw or blanket is closest to her, to grab a book from the new book racks I
\nimprovised with spice racks from IKEA and read it stretched out on the floor\u2026 We don\u2019t
\nhave a rug that is as fluffy and cozy as this one in our living room, so her own room is fast
\nbecoming her favorite place to hang out.<\/p>\n

Honestly though, Juliet\u2019s room is quickly becoming MY favourite place to hang out\u2026 I might
\nneed to add that little bit of Kids Love Design<\/a> magic to our own bedroom, too!<\/p>\n
