Enter in the magical and poetic world of Celine Wright; A world where lights are made with thousands of strips of paper. The result is lights that are both unique and wonderful.
"Handwork is the only human energy which does not pollute" according to Celine Wright. All her objects are handmade, combining traditional and contemporary.
All the materials used are natural and clean.Manufacturing a light fixture requires different skills and interventions. Thus, Céline Wright has established a network of people working from home who each contribute to the products. Each fixture is unique.
Molded and structured by hand; a shell of a "cocoon" consists of more than 1600 strips of paper pasted individually into a mold.
The result is a unique light, with a hard shell, which emits a soft and smooth light.
