PREPARATION OF YOUR ORDER AND DELIVERY TIME

 

The delivery deadlines are indicated on our website for each product under the price (availability).  

 

For products in stock: we commit to ship the package within 72 hours business days unless clearly indicated on the site (holidays, special closing periods).

For products requiring an order with suppliers: We commit to prepare orders in less than 72 hours after receiving your delivery from suppliers.

We kindly remind you that, for products which are not in our stock, delays are indicative and based on the information provided by our suppliers. Shall these deadlines vary, KIDSLOVEDESIGN will contact you as soon as possible to provide you with accurate information. You will then be able to decide to continue or cancel your order. If you would like to cancel your order, you will be fully refunded of the total amount within a maximum period of one week after receiving your confirmation of cancellation.

 

If your order includes both products IN STOCK and products which have to be ordered from our suppliers, the longest deadline applies. If you would like to get the product in stock earlier, we kindly ask you to make two or more separate orders.

 

THE DELIVERY DEADLINES INDICATED BELOW DO NOT INCLUDE THE DELAY NESSARY FOR THE PREPARATION OF YOUR ORDER. EXCEPT FOR THE PRODUCTS IN STOCK, ALL THE BULKY ITEMS ARE SUBJECTED TO THE DELIVERY OF THE PRODUCTS TO OUR WAREHOUSE.

 

Terms and conditions of our carriers

Transportation time depends on your shipping address and the nature of your order. All the delivery timings are calculated in business days. Please note that customs controls can lengthen the delivery process and that we have no control over those controls.

 

DELIVERY IN FRANCE

 

COLISSIMO for parcels below 30 kg

Deliveries for parcels below 30 kg are ensured by our carrier COLISSIMO against signature at the address indicated on your order. For metropolitan France, the delivery time is of 24 to 48 hours. In case you are not available for the delivery, the carrier will leave a delivery notice at your address to reschedule another visit.

 

UPS for bulky items or above 30kg

UPS ensures the delivery of bulky items and products over 30kg. A minimum of 48h is required for delivery in metropolitan France. In the event of your absence, the carrier will contact you to reschedule the delivery. The price of your delivery will be automatically calculated on our website as per the weight and volume of your order.

 

DELIVERY IN EUROPE AND SWITZERLAND

COLISSIMO for parcels below 30 kg

Deliveries for parcels below 30 kg are ensured by our carrier COLISSIMO against signature at the address indicated on your order.

 

From 48h business days: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain and United-Kingdom.

From 3 to 4 business days: Balearic Islands, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sardinia, Sicily and Switzerland.

From 4 to 5 business days: Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden.

From 6 to 7 business days: Norway, Bosnia and Serbia.

 

UPS for bulky items or above 30kg

A minimum of 72 hours is required for UPS to ensure a delivery in Europe. In the event of your absence, the carrier will contact you to reschedule the delivery. The price of your delivery will be automatically calculated on our website as per the weight and volume of your order.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

 

COLISSIMO for parcels below 30 kg

Deliveries for parcels below 30 kg are ensured by our carrier COLISSIMO against signature at the address indicated on your order.

The delivery time is 2 to 3 business days for: Canada, United-States, Mexico, China and Island.

4 to 5 business days for: Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South America et rest of the world.

UPS for bulky items or above 30kg

A minimum of 5 to 6 business days are required for UPS Standard to ensure international delivery of bulky items or above 30kg. In the event of your absence, the carrier will contact you to reschedule the delivery. The price of your delivery will be automatically calculated on our website as per the weight and volume of your order.

 

SPECIAL NOTE FOR BULKY ITEMS

For furniture and bulky packages:

Delivery of furniture and bulky packages is performed by a specialist carrier. Note that these products are delivered to the bottom of the building if you live in an apartment, and to your doorstep if you live in a house; thanks for making your own arrangements if you live upstairs or in houses which are not easily accessible.

The transport company is instructed to contact you to set up an appointment. If they cannot reach you, please contact us and we will provide you with the number of the local carrier to set up the appointment.  

 

If you would like a delivery upstairs which requests 2 people, please contact us and we will do our best to reply to your request (with supplement). In some countries / cities, this option might not be feasible.  

 

SHIPPING INSURANCE

All orders travel WITH insurance. It is your responsibility to check the number of parcels you will receive and the state of the products in front of the carrier. Instructions will be sent when validating your order, please follow it strictly. Any transport damage which has not been notified upon reception of the packages will not result in a refund, replacement or compensation the insurance does not cover damages which are not reported on the travel voucher upon delivery.

 

SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

For deliveries, outside of the European Union, we will deduct the French VAT 20%. The total order amount is calculated excluding VAT.

Transportation is DAP: Delivered at place. Shipping fees and export administrative costs are paid by KIDS LOVE DESIGN. Upon arrival of the order, you will be asked by the carrier to pay for import administrative costs, local VAT and any import duty which might apply in your country. For more information, please check the customs rules in your country.

 

DELIVERY WITHIN THE EUROPEAN UNION WITH A VALID EU VAT NUMBER

For all orders within the European Union and outside of France, the communication of a valid EU VAT number will allow you to make your purchases excluding French VAT. The VAT number will be verified on the database of the EU. If the VAT number is not correct, the order cannot take place without paying the French VAT.
