Robert Delaunay (1885-1941) was a French painter who excelled in abstract painting. He created this painting to pay tribute to Louis Blériot, a French aviator. This man crossed the English Channel with his plane in July 1909 and Delaunay attended his return to Paris.
Through this painting we see chromatic discs, several aircraft models, the Eiffel Tower and the Ferris wheel. There is a great ingenuity of color movements. The light is bright and the reflections incandescent. Hommage à Blériot is a decorative panel with customizable dimensions.
